Happy Anniversary!!

We look so young!!

(poor quality photos--snapped pics from photo album)

Today Josh & I celebrated our 7th Anniversary of Marriage. The past 7 years have flown by. I remember getting ready for our wedding and so excited to be his wife. We have done some pretty amazing things, gone on great trips, but the best thing we have done is start our family. I am so lucky to have Josh as a husband and a father to Hudson & soon-to-be Hayes. He has helped me be a better Christian by his strong example. I can't thank him enough for that. I thank the Lord for blessing me with him!! I love you, Josh!! Happy Anniversary :)

I Heart Orange Push-Ups & Golf

Oh how I love to eat orange push-ups. I remember that I loved eating them as a kid. I saw them at Wal-mart one day and just had to get them. What kind of Mother would I be if I didn't introduce them to Hudson. He thought they were yummy. If you know Hudson that kid loves to eat so he had no trouble eating one :-)

Big belly is due to being pregnant & not eating tons of push-ups :-) ha

Like Father like Son

Josh cannot wait till Hudson is old enough to know how to play golf. He dreams of taking this little guy out on the golf course were they can play a full 18 holes of golf. I don't know what I will do with myself when all 3 of my boys are out playing golf some day....hmmm maybe get a pedicure!!

Father's Day 2011

Here is one of my favorite photos of Josh & Hudson (look at the love in Josh's face..priceless)

I cannot tell you how lucky I am to have Josh as the Father to Hudson. We have both learned so much about each other and what it means to be a parent these last 2 year. First of all, you never knew your heart could LOVE someone so fast. I remember Josh telling me that after Hudson was born and was getting checked out by the nurses.....He walked over to where Hudson was and said a few words to him. Hudson just looked over right at Josh knowing THAT was his Daddy's voice. Josh is a wonderful example of a man strong in his walk with Christ. I pray that Josh and myself are good examples for Hudson.

Josh and Hudson love to chase each other and wrestle. He is still a Momma's boy but he adores the attention & love he gets from his Daddy. We love you Hudson!! I cannot believe that next year we will have Hayes (10 months old by then) celebrating Father's Day, too!!

Happy Father's Day!!

Water Bug :-)

We have gone to the pool a couple of times this summer and have had a blast. Hudson is like a little water bug. He loves everything about it. Josh & Hudson are like two peas in a pod when it comes to playing in the water :-) I love my boys!!

Little Laugh

Hudson was in the living room just laughing like crazy. I went in and, of course, he was laughing at Curious George. Hudson loves, I mean LOVES, Curious George. I just had to capture that laugh on video!! Enjoy

Blowing Bubbles with Daddy

Today I wanted to vacuum out the car. So, before I started on that chore, I took some pics of my boys in the garage blowing bubbles. I love watching them have fun together. I adore & love all my boys :-)
Update on Josh: He is still on dialysis 3 times a week. He is getting better each day but dialysis wipes his energy out. He has been such a trooper. We are hoping for a few more weeks of dialysis. The doctors are positive that he will make a full recovery but it might take a little time. We appreciate all the prayers that have been said for Josh & our family.

Easter 2011

Hudson got Buzz in his Easter basket.

My Boy

My poor Dad got "loaded up" with all of Hudson's stuff :-)

This is what Hudson picked to wear when he thought he was going to Pa-Pa & Me-Ma's (note: this is not what he wore Easter morning :-) Check out the outfit...black shirt, navy shorts, maroon socks, and brown shoes--Gotta love it

We stayed in Arkansas this Easter, because it was hard for us to travel far this year. However, it was good to go to church for Easter. We hadn't been able to go since Josh was in the hospital. It was great to be back and see all our friends. God has been so wonderful to our family. Not on just Easter but every day, I want to remember what Jesus did for all of us. He died on the cross for us to have salvation if we accept him. That is amazing!!

The most important thing for me is that Hudson knows the true sacrifice that was done for him through Jesus. I want him to enjoy the little stuff but to also know the true meaning of Easter.

:-) So, Hudson woke up and the Easter bunny didn't forget about him. He got gummies, jellybeans (which he ate for breakfast), Curious George movie, and Buzz from Toy Story. He LOVES Woody & Buzz. He takes the Woody doll everywhere. Later that day, my parents came to have Easter dinner with us. We had such a good time. I even got out my china. I have NEVER used my china before this (bad...I know ;-) Hudson loved having them at the house and wanted to leave with them. He went and got a pair of shoes and some socks and asked my Mom to put them on. Then he grabbed both their hands and said, "Come on Pa-Pa..Come on Ma". What a little trickster. He didn't get to go with them--he was heartbroken.
