Dads I Love

I decided to start with the Dad who has known me the longest. This is my Dad, Howard (aka Pa-Pa). My Dad is the one who has put up with me the longest and that is something :-) I was a good kid....I promise (fingers crossed)..haha!! I love my Dad and have always been a Daddy's girl. He is a great Dad. He showed me how hard a man works for his family. He taught me so many things growing up, for example, driving a tractor, how to fish, and how to get Mom to do things for ya!! One thing I know is that he loves his family and he is a great Pa-Pa to Hudson, Collin & Carter. All the boys love Dad and love his attention. Dad loves taking the boys on 4-wheeler and tractor rides. He thought having me & Carrie was wonderful but he loves his grandsons. Thanks for being a Great Dad and Pa-Pa.

This is Pa (aka Josh's Dad or aka Wayne). Hudson loves Pa. He knows that when he sees Pa that fun comes right along with him. Pa is a wonderful Grandpa to Hudson and his cousin, Logan. He works hard for his family and is always there if anyone needs him or Nana. That is one of the reasons he is such a great Dad. I'm so lucky to have a Dad-in-Law as good as Pa. I'm saying all these nice things but Pa is quite the teaser. He teases me about being from Arkansas (not wearing shoes and all but I don't see that as a problem all the time :-). He's from Oklahoma so that doesn't make us too different. I guess my Hubby is an Oklahoman, so all is forgiven. Thanks Pa for loving all us even if we live in Arkansas!! We love you Pa!!
Now to the last Dad on my list. I love this Dad with all that's in me!! He is a wonderful Father to Hudson. Josh is the kind of man that I hope Hudson becomes. He is a faithful servant of Christ and that is the best example & gift that any Father could give his child. Hudson & I are so lucky to have him in our lives. I know Josh looks forward to all the fishing trips and outdoor fun him and Hudson will have in the years to come. Thanks Josh for being a great husband & Daddy. We Love you!!

Waterboy

No, I'm not talking about the Adam Sandler movie, Waterboy, but my little Hudson. Hudson loves anything about water. So, last week we went to the Splash Park in Rogers. It took him about 5-10 minutes to get comfortable after we got there. Then, he started playing and you would have thought he was one of the big boys out there. It is so fun to watch him get more & more independent. He does love staying close to Momma, too, which I don't always mind!!

Last week, we went to my sister's house for a little backyard water party. She had the kiddos a pool to swim in, the pirate ship water table, and the hose going. The pool was a little cool but the boys love to play in anything water. Hudson especially liked the water hose. My Mom was there and she had fun in the water hose, too, but I promised not to put any pics of us girls in our swimsuits :-) on the blog.
After getting sprayed by the water hose

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a Great time over Memorial Day Weekend. Nana, Pa, and Uncle Kolton drove from Oklahoma to spend the weekend with us.
Saturday---We played outside, literally all day (except when Hudson was napping)!! That boy loves being outside.

He loves his new pool. The water was a little too cool for Mommy to get in!!

Playing a game of Ladder-Ball

Loves running around with Daddy

Sunday--We went to church and then decided to go to Tulsa and visit the Oklahoma Aquarium. None of us had ever been and thought it would be fun for Hudson. Josh's brother, Austin, and his wife & daughter, Rebecca & Logan, live outside of Tulsa, so they met us at the OK Aquarium.

Hudson is ready to see the fish!!

Looking at all the clown fish a.k.a Nemo's

Checking out the turtles

Okay, so Hudson thought the otters were hilarious. He kept watching this one otter swimming in circles and couldn't stop laughing. He is so cute!!

Hudson didn't like the man in the fish tank. He tried waving at Hudson but Hudson didn't know if it was a man or a really big fish.

Taking a break

Nana, Hudson, & Pa looking at the stingrays.

I had to put at least one pic of a shark on here!!

Pa & Hudson in the shark tunnel. Look at the reflection of Pa & Hudson on the glass....pretty cool.

I love this picture of Aunt Becca & Logan. They are so happy. You can see the love in both their faces.

Oh no, my baby is in the shark cage!! Hudson doesn't care, he has a snack.

Uncle Kolton and Hudson checking out the shark mouth.

Sitting after the tour of the aquarium. The day isn't over yet.
Uncle Austin looks pretty tired over there.

After the aquarium, we went to Austin & Rebecca's house for a cookout. Hudson is checking out all of Logan's toys.
Thanks Nana & Pa for the trip to the aquarium and Thanks to Austin & Rebecca for having us all over afterwards.

Monday--Mom came over for a short visit. Hudson learned to give good kisses with Me-Ma around!! We pretty much had a relaxing day at home. Josh played golf and we did happen to get in a little shopping. Monday night Mom watched Hudson so Josh & I could go out to dinner. It is nice to have a date every now & then!! Thanks Mom
