Hayes' Newborn Pics

A couple of weeks ago, we took Hayes to get his newborn pictures taken. Thanks to Katie Cole for capturing our sweet boy in these photos. I got the pictures in both color & black/white but I will just post the color pics. He did great during the photo shoot. He was quite the little model :)

Hayes (2 weeks)

Hayes has been such a joy to all of us. He is such a wonderful baby. He has completed our little family. He had his 2 week appt. this past Monday, and let me say that he is a growing boy!! Here are his stats from his 2 week appt.

Weight: 8.62 lbs

Height: 21.26 inches

Head Circ.: 13.98 inches

A Video for the Grandmas :-)

Here is a little video of Hayes relaxing in the pack-n-play. He is such a good baby. He doesn't even cry at night to eat. He will just lay there in the pack-n-play and start grunting. This video was taken while Hudson was napping. Hayes and I took a little nap together, then I decided I better work on some laundry. I put him in the pack-n-play, and he was so relaxed in there.

Here is a cute little Hudson story......this morning Hudson woke up and our normal routine is that I will get him a cup of milk after he wakes up. Then we cuddle on the couch. Well, I got his milk but couldn't find him. I went into the bedroom and he had turned the light on & was just looking over the pack-n-play just smiling at Hayes. It is so sweet to watch him love and worry about his brother!!

Hudson looks so big next to Hayes.

Hudson has done so great in his new role as being a Big Brother. He is constantly wanting to hold Hayes. Yesterday he let me know that "He's mine!!" I had to let him know that Hayes belongs to our family and not just him. Hudson has grown to Love the camera. Before Hayes was here, you were lucky to get a posed picture of him. Now he lays down and starts saying, "cheese." I love how much Hudson prides himself in having a brother. I can't wait to watch these two in the years to come :-)

This morning it was so nice outside that it was the perfect time to go to the park. Hudson loves to be outside and we desparately needed to get out of the house. I was getting "cabin fever" and needed some time outside, too. We have a nice little park minutes from the house, so we were off for our first outing.

{Brothers}

Hudson is adjusting really good to having a little brother. Most of the time he just goes about his own business (playing & eating). Josh and I can't wait to see these two grow up together!! We both feel SO lucky.

I had to post these 2 pictures of Hudson & Hayes. Both were taken after each of the boys were born. You can definitely tell they are brothers :-) I love these two with all my heart!!

What a cutie!!

Today (8/1/11) we welcomed our 2nd miracle into the world. Hayes Joshua Landreth was born at 5:02PM, weighed 7 lbs 13 oz & 21 inches long. He looks so much like Hudson. He has more hair the he did though. We are already so in love with this little guy. I was so ready to see him and know that he was healthy. He has had a wonderful first day of his life. I am so thankful that God has blessed me with 2 healthy boys. I just pray they will be buddies for life and love each other whole-heartedly!!

Events of the Big Day....

10:00AM: Checked in at the triage in Labor & Delivery so they could monitor my blood pressure (I have a history of blood pressure issues 2 weeks before due date). It had been borderline high over the weekend and they wanted me to come in

About 1PM: Moved me to an actual room in Labor & Delivery. The doctor decided to induce

2PM: The doctor broke my water. I knew for sure that it was go time!!

3PM: Got my epidural. The best thing ever for delivery!! I was so relaxed..

5:02PM: Our Hayes was BORN

PS: Hudson did come see his brother but we didn't get pics with our camera. Others took pics so I will have to borrow. He did good with him but was more interested in the fries we had there!!
